May 20th, 2010Non crew members were present in the cockpit of a plane that crashed killing the Polish president and more than 90 others, an investigation has found. One of the non-crew members has been identified, though officials did not name them.
The plane crashed as it tried to land in Western Russia on 10 April, killing President Lech Kaczynski and dozens of senior Poles. The investigation confirmed crew were repeatedly warned about poor weather.
Europe must combat homophobia

The Russian government does not intend to introduce any restrictions on capital movement
May 14th, 2010Russia rules out capital controls – government does not intend to introduce any restrictions on capital movement despite the threat of excessive inflows damaging the economy.
This is according to First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, who sad referring to the 2008 economic and financial crisis “We did not take such decisions even during the most difficult period for us”.
German cabinet approves eurozone package package for struggling Greece
May 12th, 2010Chancellor Angela Merkel and her cabinet have given the ‘green light’ to the Euro-zone stability package. Germany is expected to contribute at least 123 billion Euros to the debt rescue measures.
Despite suffering a serious defeat in a state election over the weekend, Chancellor Angela Merkel and her cabinet have given fast-track approval to Germany’s share of a 750-billion Euro ($964 billion) Euro-zone stability package.
Church concerned about human rights

British Airways: do not drink following 12 hours – toilets are closed!

Generally there are 6 toilettes on Boeing 767 but 5 of them were non-functional because tank weren’t empty before takeoff.
South Korea to retaliate over warship sinking and deaths of 46 sailors
May 2nd, 2010South Korea’s defence minister has said those responsible for the deaths of 46 sailors on board a warship that sank after an explosion must “pay a price“.
Kim Tae-young promised punitive action against the perpetrators who killed our soldiers.
He did not specify what form this could take. South Korea has not directly blamed North Korea – and Pyongyang has denied any role.
Car bomb defused in New York
May 2nd, 2010Authorities in New York confirmed failed car bomb in the heart of mid-town Manhattan (at the Times Square).
Square and its surrounding area have been sealed off while police deal with the vehicle.
It was parked in front of a theater during Broadways peak early evening period.
The area had been crowded with tourists and others beginning a Saturday night out.

Accordant to dress code, police banned unnatural hair colors like purple, green or blue. Policewoman files a charge to local court.
